All hypnotherapists are not created equal. When you contact Richard Dama, LPC, Counseling and Clinical Hypnotherapy, you are calling the best practice in the region, and the results you experience will be magnificent.

Our approach is different than traditional psychotherapy.

We use an intervention that is clinically proven to break subconscious associations with negative thought patterns and use your own internal skills to solve problems from new perspectives. We use evidence based treatment methods that work! You will be amazed at your progress after the first session.

We custom design targeted programs to meet the needs of each individual client.

We know that everyone has their own unique problems which require unique solutions, and we will work with you to develop a session plan designed to meet your specific goals.

Most people find 1-5 sessions – usually scheduled over a few days or weeks – provide the tools necessary for permanent change.

You will find hypnosis to be a very relaxing and positive experience. You are never “under the control” of another person; you are always able to make all decisions, and you will enjoy the professional surroundings of our comfortable, relaxing office.

The research is in:

Hypnosis is considered a valid treatment method for many different conditions by many professional and medical associations.

Hypnosis is not an “alternative treatment,” but rather a method of using naturally occurring trance phenomena to change the mind and body. Hypnosis is considered a natural, low-risk and beneficial process by the Mayo Center and other healthcare organizations.

Natural also means that it uses no drugs or other chemicals, so you don’t have to worry about side effects. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process through which you can more effectively use your own inner resources to finally break old associations or adapt new skills that will help you to achieve your goals.

You can absolutely use hypnotherapy with a friend or loved one.

When making changes, having a peer support person can be very valuable. Couples or friends trying to accomplish the same goals can save money by attending hypnosis sessions together.
